Abstract：	In my talk I shall first review slope inequality in char. 0 (joint work with E. Eckart) and it's consequnece in the volume inequality and relation to Miayoka-Yau inequality (joint work with Lu Jun, Tan Sheng-Li and Eckart Viehweg). Then I'll discusse slope inequality in char. p and bounding locus with positive Newton slopes (joint work with Lu Jun and Sheng Mao).
