| Abstract： | We give a restriction theorem which generalized Stein-Tomas theorem to the H-type groups with the center of dimension larger than one. Then the restriction theorem is used to investigate the Riesz means for the sublaplacian. The corresponding results on the Heisenberg group fail or don't known.
